Inchcolm Abbey

Got up early (not difficult given the amount of daylight and the amount of racket from the gulls) and got a lift to Granton Harbour and thence to Inchcolm - via Inchkeith to drop off a team of bird people. It was a beautiful day and I spent most of it just drinking it in. D was working through the day (although only two boat drop-offs) but then cooked us a meal so I had a proper lazy day.

Thought I'd go with the classic view for the blip, but shall add some extras in due course when I've been through all the photos.

Edit: added extras.
1. Bird people having disembarked on Inchkeith (last guy in the line will be ringing shag chicks, which is why he has a long pole).
2. Edinburgh/Leith as we passed on our way back up the Forth to Inchcolm.
3. Blipped this before but it bears repeating - the view from the cottage where D stays.
4. A tug (the Fidra?) unsuccessfully trying to hide behind some rocks - think that must be Inverkeithing in the distance.
5. Bridges, with phenomenally ugly cruise ship anchored at the far left. One of the wee buildings in the foreground may have once been the NAAFI.....
6. Just caught the cruise ship leaving - this taken through the cottage window.
