A Fine View

Out for a sunny morning bike ride with friends who live locally to Keswick which was lovely.  As we were bit time-boxed (us and them) there was no time for pics which was a shame because the views around the Newlands Valley were awesome. 

We spent the afternoon walking.  We intended to do the Latrigg Fell walk f via the Threlkeld Path (the old railway line)  but it got too hot so we adopted plan B which was to return via Brundholm Woods.  This is a view of the eastern fells from a clearing on the trail back to Keswick.
