Monte Toro.

It's been excessively hot for the first day of Summer: 39 deg today, though very cloudy with a haze of Sahara sand-holding moisture. We went up to El santuario de la Virgen del Toro, where I lit some candles for my family present and future, before I was turfed out by a young nun who said she was locking the doors as they were going to pray. In the side chapel I spotted a dozen young nuns, which is unusual as previously I've only seen one very ancient one in there. Wonder what was going on... Extra is the hazy view down to the town of Es Mercadal.
