Teddington Cemetery

J and I wanted to find a particular headstone. Fortunately J came across a helpful chap who worked in the cemetery, he found the name I was looking for and hey presto off we go to the marked area. This is a fine cemetery all the better for today's warmth and sunshine and finding the headstone, wonderful! After lunch we walked towards Twickenham and the site of Popes Villa. The family on the headstone above lived in a house built on or near the site of Popes house. Sadly it was all demolished in the 1950's and now replaced with a school.

The train system was excellent, the Thames looked cool calm and collected unlike the poor little ducklings who had a problem with a dominating crow.

This evening we had a meal in a local Italian restaurant, squeezed in so we thought as fully booked. That man in charge was amazing, 'squeezing in' his clients was an art form. It was wonderful. The place was vibrant, colourful and busy. There could be some tautology in that statement.
