Heron

A heron in a tree. Spotted as we set off on a walk along the Aubonne river today, down to Lake Geneva. We did a circular route through an amazing wood and at one point came across overgrown anti tank posts. See extra. We found a lovely beach on the lakeside, wandered through Rolle and had a coffee before driving to the airport to pick up our son, who was returning from his final year at university in the UK. We then went back to the beach for a picnic and a swim.
