Sally Mair - Loving life

Roses galore!

I seem to have spent today noticing roses.
I was in church this morning and noticed several looking absolutely beautiful-I also spotted that the wild strawberries were out so helped myself to a couple! Stopped the birds having them I reasoned.
I had a dental visit this afternoon to the dental hospital, something arranged a good year ago. I have a small lump on my bottom jaw which my dentist wanted checked out. They were able to fit me in for a cone beam scan as the radiology dept was unusually quiet. I was very pleased as that saved me having to go back in 3 months. Result. All good too. Nothing suspicious and no treatment required.
Back home I channelled blipper HazelH channelling me and went out in the car to pick up a freebie ice cream maker I'd spotted. I've made ice cream from fresh fruit, cream and icing sugar before, but this sounded an interesting new challenge.
Once we got home again I noticed how many roses are out in our own garden. The front bed has still to flower, so there are more to come, but here is a selection plus a photo bombing ant!
From top left, those I know are:
Queen Elizabeth, Molineux, Rambling Rosie,
?? , ??, Golden Showers, ??, Boscobel, Albertine, not Boscobel (wrongly labelled when sold so I don't know what it is), Charles de Mille, Climbing Peace, ?White Rugosa, ,?? , Tickled Pink.
I'm impressed I know so many actually.
