A Short Blooming

Very warm, sunny, +26, a bit weaker wind, so the same temperature felt warmer.

Many things had to be do before leaving to the country, of course refuel the car, measure the tire pressure of the car and the moped. A packet was in the post to be taken. The allotment garden demanded a lot last works until late in the evening. And it was hot. And we were tired when got back home.

In the picture is Rosa spinosissima from our garden. Because it's so warm and dry, it withers very soon after opening, only a day ot two after.  I quote my post last year: "This rose species is blooming around midsummer in Finland and we know it well as the rose of Midsummer." So I posted the photo of it too early, but because of its withering already.
