Dear Blip friends,

I have further good news: the neurosurgeon, whom I saw today, confirmed that they can operate. No guarantees about how much I’ll recuperate, but it should at least delay further deterioration.

The site of the surgery will be rather wider than in 2019, starting just below the skull and ending between the shoulder blades.

More good news: although his schedule is full until mid-September, he proposed that a colleague of his operate during the summer. I already have an appointment booked with the anaesthesiology department on 10 July.
