A single rose

I did not go on the walk today but managed to get an appointment with the doctor in town. Fortunately, this practice is taking up the slack for patients who cannot see their normal doctor in the village who is off on long-term sick. She checked me over and confirmed that I do not have bronchitis. She said that she thought I have Covid despite the fact that I have had two negative home tests. She sent me off to the laboratory next door for a PCR test. I should have the results tomorrow. She did say that there is a lot of Covid around in the locality which only goes to prove that the virus has not gone away. However, she said that there have been no serious cases.
