No takers for Blipmeet in the morning .. various people had said they couldn't come, so not a big surprise. There was also a threat (later fulfilled) of heavy rain. I talked to several non-Blip people looking for directions to different meetings in assorted parts of the gardens. It was busy. If the Blipmeet happens next Third Tuesday it might relocate somewhere less popular, like Warriston Cemetery. 

Afternoon outing by tram (standing room only) from St Andrews Square to Haymarket to the sewing machine shop with my Elna (bought 1990, used for five years, then not since) to get it serviced. Couldn't have done that with the much bigger Bernina I had in California. Walked back by the West End. 23C and humid out after the heavy showers in the early afternoon.
