French Connection
We packed up the van again and departed from our pastoral campsite on Anglesey.
This time we crossed over on the Britannia Bridge across the Menai Straits from Anglesey to Wales.
Beautiful views of Snowdonia but we were driving so couldn’t take a picture to do it justice, so it will have to remain in our mind’s eye.
An easy drive from there to Sutton, where David needed to use the wifi at Deb and Sam’s to take care of some work issues.
Then we had tea and conversation with Geoff and Hélène’s and met their vivacious French friend, Nathalie.
Their garden was as beautiful to the eyes as it was to the nose! So fragrant! The recent heavy rain had caused some of the branches, heavy laden with blooms, to bend down to form a pretty archway.
We walked down to Sutton High St where we dined at “Veeru’s Exquisitely Tasty North Indian Food”. The chef came out of the kitchen to talk to us and we discovered that he had two brothers living in Bedford, Texas!
We went to bed in our van parked in the driveway to the sound of rain pouring down. Very cosy!
