Stanley Ghyll Force

Holiday 5 (forgot to number 3 & 4)
Hot again but feeling ready for a walk so up among the trees to Stanley Ghyll and then a circuit of a wide upland valley not far from Devoke Water seemed a good choice. 
And it was. St Catherine'sChurch was paid a visit (extra), the falls had some water and some shade and there was a bit of breeze once up. Great views, varied scenery, plenty of flowers and wildlife and even a damp bit with damsels and dragons.
We were back for lunch and lazed and snoozed in the shade thereafter.
In the evening I went for a very short cycle up the valley.
