Honeysuckle

There was a dampness in the air from time to time, there were grey clouds, and the forecast was for showers, but sadly, none drifted our way. I can’t remember when we last had rain, except for a night-time shower during the week and the only way I knew about that was the globules of water resting in the lupin leaves.
While Bertie and I were out for our afternoon walk a gentle sweet perfume filled the air. I looked up and saw this honeysuckle. I hope the grey clouds beyond come to something.
