Guardian of the Gate

 A brief trip into town for the monthly Artisan market and to collect a new suitcase for a forthcoming trip.

The rest of the day was spent between pottering in the garden and catching up on some online talks/workshops on Lightroom and Photoshop.

This handsome cat is our neighbour's pet. He's perfectly placed in the cut away section of our gate allowing no other cat in or out! I think he's wondering when I was going to get out of the way. Our back door is not far away. and there's free cat food (our cat's food) if he can just get in and out without us hearing him....
