Birthday Wishes

We’d invited our Musselburgh friends to a bbq today to belatedly celebrate Mr P’s 60th birthday and also my friend Fiona’s 60th.
I was supposed to pick up Mr P from the airport after Mass and teas and coffees (I was on duty with Carole) but annoyingly his flight from Bristol was cancelled and instead of arriving at 12.30pm, he didn’t get back to Peebles until after 6pm!
I managed to set everything up myself and then everyone helped out when they arrived. Once Mr P finally turned up, we cracked open the bubbly and had birthday cake. Mr P opened his presents and also his Father’s Day pressies from the boys. Thankfully the rain held off until we were all back indoors this evening.
