Tyndale Monument

Now ensconced in our rented house in North Nibley. Friends from further south have joined us so after a refreshing cup of tea we walked up the hill to the William Tyndale Monument. Unfortunately the weather was a bit grey so we couldn't see the advertised views too well. The monument was erected in 1866 to honour William Tyndale who was burnt at the stake on October 6th 1536 for being the first person to translate the New Testament into English.
