Yet another hot day and I must confess that I do love this weather. I love being outside for most of the day and really being able to get stuck into the gardening. We had about 10 minutes of rain today and I'm pleased to hear that it is going to rain a LOT overnight, for which the plants and trees and the lawn will be so thankful (and all the birds and animals too).

I went out on a walk and took it slowly, stopping here and there to stop and rest. I sat down in the shelter at the block yard and took some selfies just for fun.

I've just cooked lime pickle rice while Chris played the piano - it was very soothing. Now we're all about to watch the second half of "Manhunter" - nothing soothing about that at all.
