Cooper's Hawk

I've begun to once again take my camera w/long lens on my morning rolls/runs with the Big White Dog. It's a bit of a balancing act, what with all of the other stuff I carry on our twice daily workouts; water for Fletcher, treats for Fletcher, pepper spray for the unexpected, sunglasses and a hat.  I'm a Cancer...that should explain this. Got some shots of this Cooper's hawk this morning right at the beginning of our trip. Check the *extra for another shot. Took no other photos for the remainder of our 40 minute 'workout'. But the camera seemed to enjoy the ride. Tomorrow is 'Fourth Monday', so 'only' five more weeks of 'no weight-bearing' on my left leg! Yikes! Although the rental 'mobility chair' has been great! I have been entertaining some personal revelations of late. I'll most likely share them with you down the road. Wishing All a Very Peaceful Week. 
p.s. after taking a closer look at my photos of this bird, I believe that it's actually a Cooper's hawk. They are uncommon here.
