Starry Rosinweed

The Florida Wildflower Foundation describes Starry Rosinweed as "a robust wildflower that occurs naturally in flat woods, sandhills and disturbed areas. Its bright showy flowers attract a variety of butterflies, native bees and other pollinators. Birds will eat its seeds." Historically, Native Americans reportedly chewed its stems to help clean their teeth. Plants in the Rosinweed family have long been used for medicinal purposes in North America and Europe.
