The first tiny Poppy...

...and a teeny weeny black and white bug

Normally there are more Poppies in the garden, but, like last Summer, the garden has been very neglected, and is now very dry.

Cloudier and meant to be cooler today, but still a muggy 27 degrees in the garden this afternoon. Watched the Trooping of the Colour, did half an hour armchair gardening, long chat with the French friend I was meant to have visited in July, and more resting.
