I’ve been slowly adding to my DIY experience. Put some shelves up, used a drill to put Kara’s climbing frame together. Next, using a sander. Our Velux windows are in need of a refurb with bits of, what we think is the original 15+ year, varnish come off.

Jen’s Dad lent me his Bosch sander and hoover combo which meant less dust. Still dust though, just less.

I did three windows today. Kara’s ones can wait for another time. My hand was feeling pretty ‘buzzy’ after just those ones. One coat of varnish done today. Another tomorrow and put the blinds back on. Sorted.
