Mexican Fencepost Cactus

(Pachycereus marginatus)

This is the tallest post on the cactus out of about 15 or so arms. It is a relatively young plant, only about 10 feet tall, they can reach up to 25 feet. This image is just the top 3 inches of the plant. I love how the symmetrical form of the cactus catches the late afternoon light. Hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed photographing it.
