Venison chew!

Took the dogs out this morning to mount edgecumbe while Sian visited Ian and the cleaner was at the house! We walked up to the stable block and I had a cappuccino and bought the dogs venison chews! Not cheap but Flossie made hers last for a long time! Missed the ferry back to admirals hard so took the one that went to the William yard!

Sian was not back when we got home so I read my book and have nearly finished the book Bernard wrote! When sian got back she took me out for lunch at The Fig Tree, a local very good restaurant and we ate in the garden under a fig tree, only two tables occupied for lunch! Skate wing with salad and chips followed by affogato for me and white chocolate crème brûlée for Sian!

She had a shower with Ian in the hospital this morning which she said was fun! He had had all the tubes and drips removed and was given “solid” food, mashed potato, first food for a week. Hopefully it will go through and begin the process of refilling the gut so that he will be able to poo! One thing is certain, he will not be going home until he has and everything is working well!
