Opium Poppy Patch

Where do these opium poppies come from and how is it they seed so easily? We have a whole patch of them in the dry ground by the back fence.

I have  made the move to the settee. I asked Len to move my orthopaedic cushion. I can now get up easily from the settee whereas I couldn't when I first came home from hospital. It means I can raise the seat and doze off in the afternoon as well as putting my swollen legs up.

Hot but not that hot at 26 C. It's 50 C in Oman.
