Sage Rider
The Cassius Blue is a small butterfly native to peninsular Florida, found especially along the coasts. Historically it doesn't do well here in North Central FL since it is very cold sensitive. I've been seeing more of them the last few years and I'll assume that our climate's general warming is the reason. No Science there mind you, only my own observations. This one was flitting from flower to flower on some Tropical Sage.
*just a reminder...insecticides aren't selective and will poison the wildlife including butterflies and birds in your yard and the yards of your neighbors. m
