Homeward

I slept well, waking at 7:30am, rather than the 4:30am of the previous day. I felt better for more sleep but did miss the golden sun rise at dawn which I had seen the previous morning - such a peaceful and beautiful sight, a moment I will remember for a long time.

After breakfast I was home bound. Leaving my tranquil spot and conquering the busy A27. The boys gave me a warm greeting and I’m now processing my experience. This is the second short trip I’ve taken alone this year and both have been such rich experiences. I’m pleased to be home and have familiar company and conversation, but each time I have come home with happy memories and useful reflections to take forward in life.

I checked in at the allotment later in the day, all was well thanks to Andy’s watering. I’ll miss our summer allotment gathering this year.
