Villa Ockenburgh

Was here for a walk in Park Ockenburgh, what's close to where my grandparents lived and we often visited. This country house was a youth hostel for decades and then run by friends of my parents up till the late 80-ies. Luckily it was revalued and restored in the 90-ies and since a decade or so it is a posh restaurant. When back home I read in the newspaper that it was today again the "place to be"  as several organisations representing the farmers in our country tried to reach ministers of agriculture and environment a.o.  for breaking open their restrictive, suffocating policy to the farmers. 

The paper read in Dutch: 
" Heavy cabinet delegation tries to save Agricultural Agreement in talks with farmers
The talks about an agricultural agreement have again reached an impasse. At the request of farmers' organization Land- en Tuinbouworganisatie Nederland (LTO), the negotiations were unexpectedly suspended on Wednesday afternoon. Tonight the farmers will continue to talk separately with the cabinet."
