The skeletal system in decay

Two appointments today with two different back specialists. The lovely pain-free experience at the end of May has worn off in less than a month, suggesting that further injections are not the answer. Now the options are drugs, surgery, or physical therapy. I'm going for physical therapy. It has been very helpful for my right knee, so I know it can do wonders. The problem is rather more complicated with my back than it was for the knee because what helps the stenosis can inflame the facet arthropathy and vice versa, so I have to be careful. The physical therapists are booked up months in advance, so I am just going to wait, breathe through the pain as well as I can, and hope for the best.

Oddly I bumped the buttons on my camera when I pulled it out of the bag after the doctor left the room, yielding some weird settings, but it wasn't a very important photograph in any case, just a day-marker. You get the idea.
