Gulls at Sunset, Kings Lynn
We arrived in Kings Lynn in time for lunch at a lovely little cafe in an old building near the river, then spent the afternoon exploring (and taking lots of photos!).
Choosing what to blip was tricky but for my main blip I've settled on this sunset shot taken looking across the far bank the River Ouse - including the gulls was a stroke of luck! The first extra is a more conventional sunset shot by the river.
The second extra is a magnificent old building next to the Minster, which I understand over the years has been used as the Guildhall, Town Hall, Police Station and gaol: it now houses an interesting museum which includes the old gaol cells - a bit forbidding to say the least!
Tomorrow we move on again, to a village near Lincoln to visit another of my Editor's cousins.
