Sunny Sunday

And it continues to be hot! Its lucky we have a few woods nearby.
Today we walked round Abbotswood. Weve not been there for a while. We managed to park under the shade of a tree ( and came back to a cool car)  
It was a nice stroll. Last nights rain had dampened down everything and it wasnt too hot. It was nice and  quiet too
On the way back we passed a lovely Arts and crafts house. ( extra) I think Fletch liked it because while I was taking the photo he walked right up to the front door, waiting to be let in!
The road is closed so it was very quiet there. It looked lovely in the sunshine but would be very remote on a dark winter's evening. 
When we got back to the car it was cloudy  so we stopped at the little cafe for cake and coffee.  The sun came out so we found a seat under trees with a view across Furness Abbey. ( extra),
 A nice temperature for us and  with a soft breeze.
