Weeping buttercup

Today started dry and relatively bright so it looked rather hopeful that I would be able to take some photos at the park after my walk with one of the sanctuary's dogs this afternoon. Unfortunately the sky turned completely grey and it started to rain only minutes before I left the house. During my walk with Ran, a lovely female Irish Terrier, the rain had turned into drizzle so I decided to risk taking my camera out of its bag when I'd taken her back to the sanctuary but barely a few minutes later the wind picked up and it started to rain heavily again. Fortunately I'd been able to take a few photos of a buttercup before the rain came down again and this is the one that I liked best.

When I arrived at the sanctuary this afternoon the Turkish Shepherd dog mother and her puppy hadn't been picked up yet by their owners, like they said they would yesterday afternoon. I didn't ask whether they already done so when I took Ran back but I hope to find out more tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments and stars on my raindrops blip from yesterday.
