Potterhanworth Church

Blurb to follow...

This is St Andrews C of E church in the middle of leafy Potterhanworth. There's been a church on this site since Medieval times but the longest surviving part - the tower - dates from the 14th century. It is currently a friendly, active church offering a variety of services and activities.

I thought it looked very good in the evening light. I have done quite a bit of editing - more than normal for a phone shot these days!

Today's been a day where I've not got as much done as I'd planned as I kept getting distracted and side-tracked. I managed to do most things that had to be done, but not as much as I wanted to get done.

We did the Tesco shop tonight and I bought food for my Dad too, since he will be coming out of hospital tomorrow. Once we'd put ours away we went over and put his shopping away too. This photo was taken on the drive home - we detoured via Potter so Brian could get his river shot, and I took advantage!

I'll be over at my Dad's tomorrow and Thursday - probably Saturday too. But as he is having carers in four times a day I don't want to be there every day. I am determined that he will continue to have some sort of additional care so it's best to start as I mean to go on and I'm concerned that they will not see the need for additional care if they think I'm going every day!

I will have to look for another job soon and I want to have a more "normal" life! Before this interlude of less constant running around I'd become exhausted and burnt out. I don't want to go back to that state...
