Convolvulus soldanella

Sea bindweed - obviously way off course as it annually appears on the edge of the footpath entering CK.
An early visit to the plot, only to find the top snapped/eaten on a tomato plant planted Sunday afternoon. Defences strengthened. Drat! Weeding plus a little watering.
Down to CK, walked Indie, coffee with Mum. Cut some beautiful peonies & brought them indoors for Mum to enjoy, as they were getting so heavy even with staking.
Back home, quick change, laundry on the line.
I met a group of ex work colleagues for lunch at The Court Farm in Abbotskerswell. Have 'nt there in years, got lost, made a huge detour but eventually arrived. Good friends, always plenty of laughter.
