Before the storm

Although today wasn’t as warm as yesterday the retained heat from
Saturday made everywhere so hot. The garden centre was quiet, not helped by Staffordshire Ironman being held today and local roads closed.
This evening was the storm of all storms. The thunder was so intense the house shook, the rain was torrential and the water in the downstairs toilet was bubbling presumably because the drains were flooded. I have never seen a storm like it in my life. Reports on social media say two houses went up in flames, there are houses with holes in the roof and numerous houses with blown electrics,
