Psst! Wanna buy a Meerschweinchen?

We joined lots of kids at the local ‘small animal market’ this morning as they tried to persuade their parents that they really, really needed a rabbit/hamster/guinea pig/rat/budgie/canary/pigeon/love bird. Going by the number of cardboard boxes being carried away quite a few were successful!
Detoured via the cake shop on the way home as Ali and Karola were coming round and Obstkuchen was needed. So we sat out on the terrace with them all afternoon yacking away then rested awhile to recover after they’d left, before I nipped out and got a pizza. Capricciosa, excellent!
