Street Fair

The village was en fete today. Luckily the heavy rain held off until the end of the proceedings. All the fun of the fair took over the Main Street and half the supermarket carpark. In a quiet corner this group were singing madrigals. The event was opened by a procession led by a band and a short speech from a very prominent local artist. When we got home it rained very heavily indeed. The gardens need even more rain!
