Summer Rain

Well not quite.  Emma, Andy and Rafferty had dropped by for a cup of tea and we were all comfortably seated on the patio in the warmth of possibly the hottest day of the year so far.  Raffy had been playing with his little watering can, making pools of water and using a full sized broom to "clean it up".

Then the heavy clouds started rolling in, and we could hear thunder getting closer.  We imagined it would pass and stayed outside, until the rain started, just a few drops, nothing to worry about, then getting more persistent and we decided to move indoors, with the chairs.  Just in time as the heavens opened , the lightning started and the downpour downpoured.

"It'll all be over in ten minutes" we thought.  That was a couple of hours ago, and it's still throwing it down in regular intervals.

So here's a photo for Silly Saturday, the duck looks on as Raffy's watering can becomes redundant.
