Emerged

This is what the emerging peony of yesterday becomes the bloom of the day.  It is gorgeous.
I became more conscious today that I have become a full-time gardener.  I have to reflect on whether that's what I want to continue to be or how I can manage the garden better so that it fits with the time I want to give it.  Mind you, with plants coming through like this, it's not a bad place to be in ....
