Lunchtime treat

Heading out in a lunchtime errand we got stopped in our tracks by a Hare on the track from the house. Watched for a good wee while, frustrated that I’d left the camera in the house (I usually always take it ‘just in case’, given the wildlife around here). 

Wondered if it would stay if I reversed back and got the camera, after it had wandered up to the front of the car a couple of times (sometimes a car can act as a great hide). 

At first I thought it has disappeared, but Mel spotted it, and after a while watching the number was doubled, as a second came out, and they had a wee chase / play. That definitely brightened up a busy old day.
