Here be Pirates !

18.7C with blue sky and feeling warm.

This morning the courgette plants were planted up in big containers and put outside the greenhouse in the sunniest sheltered spot. The bush tomatoes potted up in 2 litre pots and back in the greenhouse where they will stay. Ten Dwarf French Bean plants potted up into big pots and put in the greenhouse too. They will stay inside. I find it useful to have a guaranteed crop as the last two outdoor crops have been poor. I do have about forty plants ready in a cold frame to plant out any time now.

After lunch (we had omelette today) Maeve the Deerhound and I went for our walk. It was a lovely day. There were three painters painting the window frames on the church as we passed by.

Down at the beach the tide was well out. We wandered along the firm damp sand. A lady passed with her Spaniel, heading towards Easthaven.

Some days blips can be hard to find. Other days they poke you in the eye and demand to be blipped. Today was a poked in the eye day :-)

Flags were flying all over the 'creel rack' !
"Schools out forever !" one said.
"Happy fishing Ben" another.
My conclusion is that the son of the owner of "Shamara II" has finished school and will be joining the crew - perhaps for summer, or perhaps for good.

I thought it made a jolly blip :-)
