Finding Solace
No, not Solace, the narrowboat, but finding comfort in the calmness of this beautiful garden centre.
This morning we went to the funeral of a 38-year-old young man who was raised in the village and went to school with my own children His mother had lived in the village all her life and, what added to the sadness was that her husband died last year. A much-loved village family and the church was packed to standing room only with about 200 people.
In the afternoon we collected the B-I-L and went to Larch Cottage Nurseries. I sat for a while with my drink on the verandah and took this photo of them as they crossed the bridge. I was feeling tired and didn't see all of the plants.
