The Rock
Early ferry to Belfast and a snooze on the boat. Then a long hot drive south - heading to Cork but stopping for an overnight on route.
Our drop off was Cashel - just off the motorway and a couple of hours from Cork.
It was just a small town, but with a big rock, topped off by a ruined cathedral and castle.
Our ‘campsite’ (cat park), gave us a perfect view of the castle on one side and sunset on the other.
