The Golden T**d

. . . dominates the Edinburgh skyline in the St James' Quarter and beyond.

Legend has it that a giant . . . (but let's not go there).

The more polite inhabitants refer to it as the 'Walnut Whip', but that isn't an official name either.  It is the 'Golden Ribbon', part of the W Hotel that was opened nearly 2 years ago.  Today was the first time I had been in Edinburgh since then so I am blipping this view from Leith Walk.
