Blue skies

After school drop off I met Holly for a walk.  We walked round Horseshoe lake with a take away coffee in the sunshine.  It was lovely.  Holly is a friend from my NCT group and she is so lovely.  We chatted all the way round.  I can't wait to swim in this lake again when I am better.

I spoke to the consultant's secretary today and my surgery has been booked for 1st August, so I am happy about that being agreed now.  Something to aim towards. 

After my walk I had a zoom session with my meditation teacher.  I wasn't looking forward to it if I am honest, but he put me straight at ease and it was a really good session.  Nourishing the mind and heart.  I have some homework for the next couple of weeks. 

John is all packed up for his iron man.  He leaves tomorrow morning as they have to register and set up bikes for transition etc. The event itself is on Sunday.  I embroidered him a card and a little iron man logo in a mini hoop for him to open when he gets there.
