Heidi

I have been working on this little cross stitch kit for a week or so, I was rushing to get it finished this week before my next chemo session as I want to give it to my Dad as a fathers day gift.  He and my mum have a black rescue lurcher called Heidi that looks similar to this design.  It was quite tricky to keep the stitches neat towards the end as there were quite a lot of half stitches but I very much enjoyed doing this one though. 

I have had plenty of energy today.  I walked the girls to and back from school.  In between the gardeners were here doing my new beds.  I'm very happy with them.  I will upload before and after photos soon.

While they were doing the garden I did a deep clean of the lounge, stripped and remade all the beds, washed the mats and put the washing away.  I'm getting organised in expectation of not being up to much next week, and if I am OK then that will be a bonus. 

Feeling tired now and so a few pages of my book the bed.
