The Lake District

Walked from our cottage this morning to the top end of Morcambe Bay. Had to be done after last nights BBQ. A brill night. Another sunny day and my two grand daughters can be seen investigating while the tide is well out. Eva got stuck in in the mud and her dad, Peter, had to rescue her. All was well. Unfortunately my family are leaving today so the cottage will be very quiet without them. Ali and I will then be walking to Cartmell of 'Sticky Toffee Pudding' fame and also an Antiques Fair today.
