Night shoot

Stepped out of the hotel into a bustling London morning and hopped on the tube for breakfast in Chiswick with Simon.  It was good to be back!  Made way back to the office via picking up wrapping paper for Manda’s present.  Beautiful weather and it was lovely being out in the streets.

Jonathan, our producer came in and we watched an assembly of the first couple of episodes…a lot of work to do !  Every scene needs VFX and they all take time.

Afternoon in the office and then went over to see Henry for early, and delicious supper.  I walked from her back to Victoria Station where   I rejoined the team on the concourse, this evening with a different director directing scenes from a different block.  There is something about wearing a ‘florrie jacket’ that makes people think you know stuff and well as being asked what we were doing we were all frequently asked what platforms trains went from.  The Network Rail film staff were wise to this and refused to wear one.   This evening was also spiced up by excitable West Ham fans heading home, not many, it’d have been different in Liverpool St.

I went back to the hotel at around midnight not particularly from tiredness but mindful of meetings tomorrow.
