"I think she's got it... By George she's got it!"

Although I missed the crucial bit in between these two shots it was clear that 4 and quarter year-old has got the hang of her new pedal bike, a big advance on the balance bike she's been using for a couple of years.

The grassy arena that was once the bailey of Castell Nanyfer/Nevern Castle proved to be the ideal spot to practise her cycling skills, while the rebuilt base of the tower atop the motte was a lot of fun to run around (extra).

We were there to celebrate Tadcu/Grandad's birthday at this favourite picnic spot of ours, an ancient earth castle with luxuriant trees and very few visitors.  https://neverncastle.wales/
