An Orcadian Adventure (3)

First full day in Stronsay and the weather was unnaturally kind with no wind and not much direct sunlight. We had a pretty full day culminating in a visit to the Vat of Kirbister a natural stone arch, the result of a collapsed sea cave, is one the best natural points on the Orkney Islands. The first extra is a redshank (I think!) that was doing its best to say ‘Is this my best side, if you think otherwise I have another one?’ The second extra is the setting sun at about 10:20 in the evening.
