Allotment Colour

After being back in my volunteering role in the morning, Mr P and I set off to our allotment after lunch.
We spent the afternoon weeding, planting (beetroot, shallots and spring onions) and watering our plot.
Home for a quick change before heading off to an Italian evening at our church hall. It was so that all of the people going to Rome on our parish pilgrimage this October could meet and find out more about the trip. It was an excellent event with lots of delicious Italian food and Italian wine and beers. Unfortunately I was driving but Mr P made the most of it. Salute!
